Van Burke is a closeted transgender boy stuck in a rough living situation. Being recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, Van is fairly certain that if there is a higher power- they’re out to get him.
Deanna is a doctor at the Thornwitter Valley hospital who also specializes in endocrinology. She’s seen many things in her career and has a tendency to throw a bit of sass at patients who try to make her life difficult.
Older cousin to Van, Nathan lives life as best as he can. He enjoys making mix tapes, collecting “Vintage” music players, and thinking of new songs to compose. Being born with albinism, his skin is very pale, and his hair is white.
Grandniece of Deanna Courier, Mystic loves nothing more than to dance. Being an extrovert, she loves to socialize and can often be found in groups of people. Mystic is very kind-hearted and likes to help out whenever she can.
A singer, songwriter and overall talented musician, Michael is somewhat of an idol. While some might say his life is all roses, they haven’t seen the thorns he’s had to climb through to get where he is.
A gentle giant who is usually seen with a big smile on his face, Paladin is Michael’s boyfriend. He tries to see the best in everyone, and he’s always there to be a cheerleader for the people he cares about.
Paladin is autistic and sometimes has a bit of trouble with social cues, or high sensory environments, but he does his best.
When he’s not playing the bass guitar, or managing Michael’s shows, Sawyer can be found surfing.
Sawyer might be a bit strict when it comes to staying on schedule, but he cares deeply about his bandmates and will often remind them to eat or stay hydrated.
